‘NAINA’ stands for Navimumbai Airport Influenced Notified Area which comprises the land within 25 km radius
of proposed Navimumbai International Airport. Current president of NAINA Builders Welfare Association, Navimumbai unit
Mr. Prakash Baviskar have put forward this demand of notifying this area in front of then Chief Minister of Govt of Maharashtra.
NAINA was formally announced on 13th January 2013 by GoM. The basic motto of notifying this area is to
avoid unplanned development around the Airport it means in other words the development will be done only with the
permission of the development Authority. NAINA comprises of 224 villages with area estimated to be around
550 - 600 sq. km. Till now for 23 villages the MAP and DCPR is approved by Govt. of Maharashtra i.e. Interim Develop
ment Plan, IDP - I and for remaining 201 villages IDP – II is waiting for final approval. The basic purpose of
of launching this Mobile App is that, all the members of association, agriculturist, architects, builders, agents
and other concerned parties should have knowledge about the zone uses and FSI of their land. This App will be
regularly updated with the latest progress in NAINA area. NAINA Builder’s Welfare Association have prepared this
mobile App. This association is formed exclusively to highlights the issues being faced by the Builders, Developers,
Land owners and other concerned parties having their land parcels in NAINA area. If you have and queries or
